Check out my best bet for Ryan Gandra vs. Ozzy Diaz at UFC 331 below.
Ryan Gandra Round 1 (-135)
Gandra has won nine consecutive fights since he suffered a loss in his second professional MMA contest. During his current winning streak, Gandra has won nine of his last 10 fights by knockout or submission. Gandra earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2025 and has since scored back-to-back first-round knockouts in the UFC. Gandra’s two most recent wins came in 1:15 or less. Meanwhile, Diaz is 1-2 in the UFC, with his latest defeat coming against Ateba Gautier at UFC 328 in May.
In this bout on DraftKings Sportsbook, Gandra is a heavy favorite at -520 with Diaz as a +390 underdog. This contest has an over/under of 1.5 rounds, with the under at -250 and the over at +190. Diaz has a big five-inch reach advantage (79″ vs. 74″) and is three inches taller (6’4″ vs. 6’1″) than Gandra.
Although Diaz has the physical advantages, Gandra’s striking ability is on another level. Gandra is averaging an absurd 11.71 significant strikes per minute, which is 6.38 more than Diaz. Also, Gandra is elite defensively, only allowing 2.30 significant strikes per minute compared to Diaz’s 6.52. With Gandra’s aggressive nature, pressure, and high volume of punches, I think he will overwhelm Diaz. Gandra’s previous four wins came in the first round, and eight of his 10 career victories were in Round 1. You can get Gandra to win in Round 1 at -135.
