Cruz is currently on a three-fight unbeaten streak, with his last loss coming in August 2024 against Jose Valenzuela. But in December 2025, Cruz’s fight against Lamont Roach ended in a majority draw. Cruz won the WBC Interim Super Lightweight title against Omar Salcido in July 2025. Bravo is 24-1 with 17 knockouts and last beat Pedro Campa by second-round knockout in January. His lone career loss came in March 2025 against Xolisani Ndongeni.
In this bout, Bravo is five inches taller (5’9″ vs. 5’4″) with the reach advantage (70″ vs. 63.5″) as well. Cruz is a massive -800 favorite in this contest while Bravo is the underdog at +500 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Even though Cruz is powerful and has 18 career knockouts, his last four fights have gone to a decision, with his last two wins coming on the judges’ scorecards. Since Cruz is -220 by KO/TKO/DQ and +300 by decision, my favorite play is the over 8.5 rounds at -125. Also, two of Bravo’s previous four contests have lasted at least nine rounds. With Bravo being much bigger, he could pose problems for Cruz. I think this will be a close fight, with it going into the championship rounds.
