DraftKings NFL Millionaire Picks: Best DFS Plays for Week 2

Quarterback

Brock Purdy($6,200)

Brock Purdy looked surgical in his 2026 debut, carving up the Los Angeles Rams in convincing fashion. The 49ers’ field general completed 25 of 34 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns. While Purdy served up an interception, there was plenty more room for production had the game not been out of reach due to the nature of a blowout. The former Mr. Irrelevant finished with 22.1 fantasy points on DraftKings scoring, ranking 11th among all quarterbacks in Week 1. San Francisco will now face off with a Miami Dolphins team that was defeated 27-13 by the Raiders in the season opener. Kirk Cousins diced up the vulnerable Miami defense for three passing touchdowns in Week 1, and San Francisco has far more weapons than the Raiders. Mike Evans has already settled in at home, Deebo Samuel Jr. looks like his old self, and Christian McCaffrey is a weapon the 49ers lean on heavily in the screen game. Expect Purdy to be in play as one of the top quarterbacks this week and put the 49ers in a position to put plenty of points on the board against this weak Dolphins defense.

Other Considerations: Jalen Hurts ($6,700), Trevor Lawrence ($5,900), Baker Mayfield ($5,600), C.J. Stroud ($5,500)

Running Back

Bijan Robinson ($8,200)

The Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback outlook remains problematic, but it has meant more responsibility for Bijan Robinson. The 24-year-old faced a massive workload in the season opener, recording 21 rush attempts and eight receptions for 183 total yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. He finished with 31.3 fantasy points, which ranked 11th among all position players. Cooper Rush will remain Atlanta’s starting quarterback as they prepare to face off against the Carolina Panthers in this Week 2 matchup. Carolina was gashed for 59 points by the Bears in Week 1, which included 291 combined rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. The Falcons can’t match that level of offensive output, but the Panthers’ struggles to stop the run are still notable. At some point in the season, concerns will grow about the star running back’s extreme workload. But this is a divisional battle against last year’s NFC South champs, and it should be a narrow race again this season. Expect the Falcons to lean on Robinson at a high rate and have a path to being the top producer of all players this week. This is a steep price, but it’s worth it based on Robinson’s talent and matchup context.

TreVeyon Henderson ($5,200)

The Patriots suffered a forgettable 13-10 loss in the Super Bowl rematch against the Seattle Seahawks. But they will look to turn the page in Week 2 against the Steelers. One of the biggest reasons for optimism in New England is TreVeyon Henderson, who is set to make his season debut after missing the opener with a right ankle injury. Henderson has been a full participant in practice since Wednesday and is not expected to have any limitations beyond his typical split opportunities with Rhamondre Stevenson. New England selected Henderson with the 38th overall pick in last year’s draft, and his role grew as the season continued. He is effective in the passing game and tallied 10 total touchdowns across his rookie season. With him sidelined in Week 1, Stevenson took the bulk of the carries and his role in the passing game expanded, while Corey Kiner also got six carries. He has a clear role and need in New England’s attack, and he should be able to inflict damage against this Steelers defense. Henderson tallied 14 touches against the Steelers last year while logging only 45.9% of the offensive snaps. Pittsburgh failed to keep Robinson in check on the ground or as a pass catcher last week. Expect Henderson to be a key factor in the Patriots’ changes and to exceed the $5,200 price point.

Other Considerations: Derrick Henry ($7,200), Ashton Jeanty ($6,800), Javonte Williams ($6,400), Jadarian Price ($5,500)

Wide Receivers

Emeka Egbuka ($6,400)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Cleveland Browns this week, and Baker Mayfield is set to seek revenge against the team that first drafted him. Emeka Egbuka will be the biggest beneficiary as the top target, looking to build on his five receptions for 63 yards in Week 1. The Browns were shredded for 34 points by the Jaguars in the opener, which included four passing touchdowns and 245 passing yards. Jacksonville could have kept laying it on even further if it hadn’t been for the blowout score. Egbuka is Tampa Bay’s clear top wide receiver after the offseason loss of Mike Evans, and he tallied 938 receiving yards as a rookie. The Ohio State product had a solid, but not special, performance in Week 1. But his role in the offense is clear, and this is a much more favorable matchup for the entire Buccaneers’ offense. Expect Mayfield to be eager to air it out, and Egbuka to get plenty of opportunities in what could be an offensive explosion.

George Pickens ($6,300)

The Dallas Cowboys had plenty of hype surrounding their potential improvement on the defensive side of the ball after a historically bad season last year. But Dallas was gutted for 28 points by the New York Giants, allowing 394 total yards of offense and failing to get stops at any adequate rate. The reality is that the Cowboys will stick to their blueprint of outscoring teams on their path to victories. While this doesn’t bode well for Dallas’ outlook this year, it does benefit the fantasy football outlook for each skill-position player. George Pickens is eager to build on an impressive season last year, when he tallied a career-high 1,493 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He finished last year as the seventh-best wide receiver in terms of fantasy football production based on DraftKings scoring, averaging 18.1 points per game. Pickens was limited to just three receptions for 28 yards in Week 1. But he failed to connect on three additional targets and now faces a more exploitable Commanders defense. He has proven he can produce as one of the NFL’s top wide receivers, and expect the Cowboys’ entire offense to look cleaner in Week 2. Count on a more focused effort to get Pickens involved, and on him returning to the conversation as one of the biggest offensive threats in football.

Chris Godwin ($5,600)

Chris Godwin will also benefit from the friendly matchup with the Browns and Mayfield’s desire for revenge, as mentioned in Egbuka’s outlook. Godwin tallied four receptions for 40 yards in Week 1, but has more familiarity with Mayfield, and there is a place for both to produce in this game. Godwin has become one of football’s more underrated players, with injuries derailing his past two seasons. But the 30-year-old tallied 1,000+ yards through the air in four of the five seasons before this, and has 41 career touchdowns to his name. Godwin is as healthy as he has been in a while and will be eager to remind the rest of the league. This is a perfect launch point with a friendly matchup against the Cleveland defense. Expect Mayfield to lean on his top two pass catchers at a high rate, with plenty of room for production across each key skill position. Count on enough opportunity to double-dip on the Tampa Bay pass catchers, and I wouldn’t argue if you are trying to get even more members of this Buccaneers’ offense into your DFS lineup.

Other Considerations: CeeDee Lamb ($7,300), Mike Evans ($6,600), Tee Higgins ($6,100), Stefon Diggs ($5,300)

Tight End

Dallas Goedert ($4,800)

With so much talent on the Eagles’ roster, Dallas Goedert has become a bit of a forgotten man in recent years. But the tight end position is shaping into a pivotal role in this new-look offense, and Goedert is more than capable of producing. The South Dakota State product led the Eagles in receiving production in Week 1, pulling in four receptions for 77 yards and two scores. He tallied 23.7 fantasy points on DraftKings scoring, ranking third among tight ends and 30th among all players. Philadelphia’s wide receiver group will settle in as the season continues, but DeVonta Smith led the unit with three receptions in Week 1, and each player struggled at times. The Eagles will face a Tennessee Titans team that the Jets beat 23-10 in Week 1. Expect the Eagles to move the ball even more effectively against this vulnerable roster and put points on the board at a high rate. Goedert is one of the team’s top red-zone threats and Jalen Hurts’ safety blanket in the offense. Buy low on his price point now, and expect him to be among the top tight ends again this week.

Other Considerations: Trey McBride ($6,800), Colston Loveland ($5,300), Harold Fannin Jr. ($4,200)

Flex

Jakobi Meyers ($4,900)

The Jacksonville Jaguars traded for Jakobi Meyers last season, and he proved to be a difference-maker in the second half. He now has a full offseason to get acclimated to the Jacksonville offense and kicked off the 2026 season with 40 receiving yards and a touchdown. Trevor Lawrence appears to be growing in trust in Myers, and he will be eager to put up an even more impressive total as the Jaguars face off against the Denver Broncos. While Denver has built an identity as a defensive-minded team, they looked anything but this as they were carved up for 31 points and 392 total yards of offense against the Chiefs in Week 1. Meyers has had success in this matchup in the past, pulling in 32 receptions for 380 yards and four touchdowns across five matchups with Denver in his career. He faced them last year and caught four passes on eight targets for 45 yards. This was his worst performance against the Broncos in his career, and we expect a different result this year. The Jaguars’ offense looked to be firing on all cylinders in Week 1, and we expect a strong scoring output with Meyers as a key part of this in their second game of the season.

Defense & Special Teams

New York Jets ($2,400)

The New York Jets have built an identity around their defense, and that showed in their Week 1 win over the Titans. New York held Tennessee to just 10 points and 195 total yards of offense, forcing one turnover. Some of that was due to the Titans’ self-inflicted struggles, but the Jets will look to build on it in Week 2 against the Packers. Green Bay showed red flags in Week 1, losing 39-22 to the Vikings, turning the ball over twice, and letting the game slip away with Carson Wentz under center. The Jets are opportunistic in forcing turnovers and tough on the interior. A more competent offense allowed them to control the ball and lean on their running game in Week 1, and expect this to remain the blueprint for the season. Sometimes the best choice when selecting defenses is limiting the potential damage. There look to be some problems with this Packers’ offense, and New York should keep them in check throughout and post a respectable fantasy football output.

Other Considerations: Eagles ($3,700), Buccaneers ($3,600), Panthers ($2,700)
