UPDATE: Snell left due to left groin tightness. There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.
After pitching one inning on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds, Blake Snell has been replaced by Blake Treinen.
Snell went into the clubhouse with the trainer after returning from the mound and is now out with an apparent injury. There’s been no mention of exactly why Snell left the game.
Prior to exiting, Snell allowed one hit and struck out one in one inning. He threw 19 pitches, 10 for strikes.
Since Snell faced fewer than five batters, he is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
