Luis Hernandez picked up a second-round submission victory against Hugo Guillon in the second fight on tonight’s Dana White’s Contender Series card. Hernandez moves to 8-0 with eight finishes in his MMA career. This is Guillon’s second-career loss and first since May 2022.
Hernandez was +400 by submission and +1600 to win by second-round submission on DraftKings Sportsbook. This was an incredibly entertaining bout from start to finish, with each fighter having moments throughout. In this contest, Hernandez finished with 67 significant strikes, 29 more than Guillon.
