J.K. Dobbins First TD Scorer (+900)
Tonight, Dobbins will be seeing his first action in an NFL game since all the way back in Week 10 of last season. That includes preseason, too, as the veteran was held out of all three contests due to a soft tissue injury. While I have some concerns that Dobbins’ conditioning could cost him a few snaps for the game as a whole, I do believe the 27-year-old will be on the field when it matters most — when Denver is at the goal line. In the Broncos’ first 10 games last season, Dobbins was clearly Sean Payton’s go-to option in high-leverage, seeing 19 red zone rushing attempts to just six for RJ Harvey (+1400). Heck, if you’re banking on a secondary RB vulturing a touchdown, my money would be on Jonah Coleman (+3500), who appears to be more of a between-the-tackles archetype than Harvey. The rookie might be worth a sprinkle at his robust odds.
Travis Kelce First Touchdown Scorer (+1000)
It feels like there’s limited options for who could score the first touchdown while wearing a Chiefs jersey, especially the usually sneaky-mobile Patrick Mahomes (+3000) still wearing a brace on his left knee. Kenneth Walker III (+450) appears to be in one of the most “bell cow” roles in the league after signing a $43 million contract in the offseason, yet his odds seem a little low for a running back going up against the a Broncos defense that allowed the third-fewest opponent rushing touchdowns per game last season (0.6). That has me leaning towards ol’ reliable: Travis Kelce. The tight end’s 82 receiving touchdowns are the third-most of any active player, trailing only Davante Adams and Mike Evans. He’s also still just always on the field, despite his age. No Kansas City skill-position player came close to Kelce’s 81.0% snap rate in 2025, and he finished second on the team in red zone targets (11).
