Devin McCuin is the WR2 for Ohio State this season. Jeremiah Smith is the center of attention at WR1 and is widely considered to be the best wide receiver in the country. Jeremiah Smith has gotten up against this Texas team twice in his career, despite these teams not being in the same conference. In the 2024-25 College Football Playoff, Smith had just one catch for three yards against Texas. Last season against the Longhorns, Smith was held to just 43 receiving yards. Texas should use all of its resources to keep Smith in check once again and make someone else beat them.
That attention on Jeremiah Smith should give Devin McCuin some good matchups. Last season against Texas, it was WR2 Carnell Tate who was able to break loose for a 40-yard touchdown that won Ohio State the game. McCuin could be that guy for Ohio State this season. He had a great game last week against Ball State, despite being second fiddle to Smith. McCuin had six catches for 97 yards and a touchdown in that game. He should get to at least 44 receiving yards in this big game against the Longhorns.
Cam Coleman Anytime TD (+125)
Cam Coleman was one of the best players in the transfer portal this offseason. He had a sensational season at Auburn in 2025, despite poor quarterback play. He is now linked with Arch Manning in a Steve Sarkisian offense and should thrive. Coleman started the season strong with a big game against Texas State. He only had three catches, but he turned those three catches into 70 yards and two touchdowns. Coleman is a freak athlete with great hands. He will be Arch Manning’s top red zone target all season, as well as being a deep-ball threat. If anyone can break down this Ohio State defense and find the end zone, it will be Coleman. This might be one of the only games he is plus-money to score a touchdown all season, so take it while you can.
