Yousri Belgaroui to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (-125)
Belgaroui began his combat sports career as a kickboxer before shifting to MMA in 2021. In kickboxing, Belgaroui fought Israel Adesanya twice and Alex Pereira three times. After struggling a little bit early in his MMA career, Belgaroui appears to be hitting his stride. He has won five straight fights, with his last three wins coming by knockout. Belgaroui trains at the well-known gym Teixeira MMA & Fitness in Connecticut. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Glover Teixeira and Plinio Cruz lead Teixeira MMA & Fitness. Another former UFC Champion and his former opponent, Pereira, also trains at that gym.
His opponent, Santos, is 1-2 in the UFC and is coming off a loss to Baisangur Susurkaev at UFC 328 in May. Santos’ first UFC win came against Danny Barlow in October 2025. The size difference is significant: Belgaroui is six inches taller (6’6″ vs. 6’0″) and has a four-inch reach advantage (79″ vs. 75″).
In this contest, Belgaroui is a -900 favorite with Santos as a +600 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight’s over/under is set at 1.5 rounds, with the over at -238 and the under at +180. Belgaroui is also -125 to win this fight by KO/TKO/DQ. Since Belgaroui has won eight of his 10 fights, with his last three coming by knockout, I’m taking him to win by KO/TKO/DQ at -125. His tremendous power, paired with his physical advantages, should be enough to overwhelm Santos.
