Prediction, pick for Tommy McMillen vs. Marwan Rahiki at Noche UFC

Prediction, pick for Tommy McMillen vs. Marwan Rahiki at Noche UFC

Two of the top undefeated Featherweight prospects, Tommy McMillen and Marwan Rahiki, will go toe-to-toe on the Noche UFC Main Card. McMillen enters with an 11-0 record, with 10 wins by finish, while Rahiki is 9-0 with a 100 percent finish rate. This matchup has Fight of the Night written all over it.

Check out my best bet below for Tommy McMillen vs. Marwan Rahiki at Noche UFC.

Tommy McMillen to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+150)

Although this year’s Noche UFC card features two former UFC Champions and former title challengers, this is one of my most anticipated fights at the event. The winner of this fight will make the leap from elite prospect status to a top-15 Featherweight contender.

Tommy McMillen comes from the Red Hawk Academy in Peoria, Arizona. If that sounds familiar, that is because it is where former UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley trains alongside Tim Welch. McMillen shares many similarities with his friend and teammate, O’Malley. Like O’Malley, McMillen has that same swagger and brash confidence, with a tatted-up body. But so far, McMillen has backed up everything he’s said. McMillen made history in his last fight against Alberto Montes. He finished with 252 significant strikes, the most in promotion history for a three-round fight.

Rahiki has won all nine of his fights by knockout or submission and, at 24 years old, has appeared to be one of the most impressive prospects in the UFC. His previous four wins have come by knockout in the first or second round. McMillen is four inches taller (6’0″ vs. 5’8″) and has a two-inch edge in standing reach (74″ vs. 72″).

On DraftKings Sportsbook, McMillen is a -142 favorite, with Rahiki being a +120 underdog. The over/under is 1.5 rounds, with the over at -175 and the under at +135. McMillen is +165 to win by any finish, while Rahiki is +200 to win by knockout or submission. Even though this is such a close fight, I favor McMillen as he is the bigger fighter with a more versatile skill set. I’m taking McMillen at +150 to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission since nine of his 10 wins have come by finish.
