Below, I break down my favorite player prop bets for Week 2’s Saturday afternoon marquee game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Here’s how I’ll play it. I’ll be pumping out these predictions for individual games all season, with plenty of coverage here on DraftKings Network. Follow my handle @dansby_edits for more betting plays.

Michigan vs. Oklahoma player props

Jordan Marshall under 63.5 rushing yards (-115)

Seven of Marshall’s 11 carries against Western Michigan gained three yards or fewer, which makes Oklahoma an awfully inconvenient next opponent. He finished with 44 yards, and backup Savion Hiter took five handoffs himself. I’d expect Michigan to feed Marshall early, as that’s their whole bag. It’ll be sustaining those possessions which presents a problem. Oklahoma allowed opponents to convert just 28.2% of third downs last season. A heavier workload than Week 1 could beat this under, but I expect the Sooners to force punts before Marshall gets enough carries to go over.

Isaiah Sategna III 58+ receiving yards (-115)

Sategna caught four passes for 76 yards against UTEP despite John Mateer attempting only 17 throws. Michigan should require Mateer to throw considerably more, and I like his most familiar receiver to claim enough of those attempts. Sategna reached 58 yards in nine of 13 games last season (69.2%), averaging 74.2 yards. Michigan held him to 44 in their previous meeting—a sobering reminder against any enthusiasm—but I’ll back Satenga’s production profile today. I expect Mateer to keep looking for Sategna on third downs, and I see five or six catches.
