Seattle Seahawks quarterback exited Wednesday’s season opener against the New England Patriots after suffering a hip injury in the first half. He will not return.
The Super Bowl-winning QB, 29, limped back to the sideline and later visited the medical tent after taking a sack on the opening drive. Darnold went back to the locker room to receive x-rays during Seattle’s second drive and was listed as questionable to return, while backup Drew Lock took over under center.
Before exiting, Darnold completed one of two passes for 13 yards.
Thankfully for any of Darnold’s prop backers on DraftKings Sportsbook, because he left the game in the first half, DraftKings’ new Early Exit program is in effect. Anyone who made a single bet on Darnold will receive cash credits. As for parlays, the remaining legs of your parlay will remain open, and the odds of your parlay will be recalculated excluding the leg that qualifies for Early Exit.
