UPDATE: Brown will not return to Wednesday’s game. He is eligible for DraftKings’ Early Exit+.
UPDATE: Brown headed to the locker room on Wednesday and is questionable to return.
Patriots star A.J. Brown visited the medical tent during Wednesday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after suffering an apparent leg injury in the third quarter.
On 3rd-and-4, Brown ran an eight-yard slant from the left side of the formation. The throw from Drake Maye was a little low while a Seahawks defender was draped over him. As Brown landed on the ground, his right ankle got rolled on by the defender. Brown did not immediately get up and was on the field for a few minutes.
Mack Hollins and Kyle Williams could see elevated snaps if Brown is unable to return, although neither is likely to garner many targets.
Prior to exiting, Brown caught three of four targets for 26 yards.
