MLB DFS Picks Today: Top DraftKings Targets, Values for Wednesday 9/9/26

On Wednesday night, Major League Baseball has a solid 10-game DFS fantasy baseball slate that begins at 6:35 p.m. ET after a few games earlier in the day gets the action going. With 20 teams in the player pool, there are plenty of excellent options to consider as you look to assemble your winning team for this Wednesday. With playoff races shaping up and teams pushing to the finish, it sets up for another exciting night on the diamonds, so let’s dive in and examine some of my top MLB DFS picks for Wednesday night’s slate.

Overall, the weather looks to be mostly dry, but a few stadiums have significant wind factors that could help boost offenses. In Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles, the wind is forecast to be helping the hitters, while in Kansas City and Atlanta, the wind will be blowing in. Leading up to the first pitch, it’s always important to double-check lineups and forecasts before locking in your final roster.

Logan Henderson, Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs, $10,000 The Brewers have taken the first two games in this divisional series with the Cubs to push their lead in the NL Central to nine games. With 90 wins, they have the best record in baseball, and on Wednesday, they’ll send Logan Henderson to the mound looking to finish the sweep. Henderson has been outstanding lately, and his momentum is enough to make him a good play even in this less-than-ideal matchup

The 24-year-old righty is 9-3 in his 15 starts this season with a 2.48 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 3.27 FIP. He has allowed three runs or fewer in each of his 15 games, with just five total runs against him across 27 innings in his four most recent starts. Henderson has 93 strikeouts in his 83 1/3 innings on the season, and 24 strikeouts in his last four outings. He has 18+ FPTS in eight straight starts, averaging an impressive 25.2 FPTS per contest.

He earned a tough-luck loss in his last start, which was also against the Cubs, allowing two runs in seven innings but still earning a solid 24 FPTS. He’ll be at home for the rematch this Wednesday, and he’s been so locked in that he brings both a high ceiling and a high floor at American Family Field, where the Brewers will look to keep quietly stacking W’s.

Value

Will Warren, New York Yankees vs. Colorado Rockies, $7,300 Warren worked out of the bullpen in his last appearance behind Max Fried, but he’ll be back in the starting rotation on Wednesday for an outing against the Rockies, who have been an excellent matchup to attack when they’re playing on the road. Colorado is only 25-48 away from Coors Field, and the Yankees took the first game in this series, 5-3.

Warren has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four straight games, with a 2.45 ERA in 18 1/3 innings. He had an outstanding outing against the Red Sox in his most recent start, racking up 27.6 FPTS and earning his ninth win of the season. He has produced 15.8 FPTS per game at home this season (compared to 10.4 FPTS per game on the road), and he will look to keep dealing after working 2 1/3 innings out of the bullpen over the weekend. Since he has been a starter most of the year, he should still be ready for a full workload against the Rockies and has a strong chance to return good value with a victory if he continues his momentum coming into this start.

SS Elly De La Cruz, Cincinnati Reds at Los Angeles Dodgers, $5.700 — De La Cruz isn’t in an ideal matchup against Yoshinobu Yamamoto ($11,000) in L.A., but he still makes sense as a pay-up play since he has been so locked in at the plate lately and brings great upside in multiple categories. De La Cruz has multiple hits in six straight games and homered for a fourth straight game on Tuesday night in the Reds’ second straight one-run loss to the Dodgers.

De La Cruz has 10+ FPTS in seven of his last 10 games, including each of his last five, averaging 14.7 FPTS over his last 10 and 20.4 FPTS over his last five games. He hit his 25th homer of the season on Tuesday and added his 26th double of the season as well. He also has 25 stolen bases, giving him multiple paths to producing major fantasy points in Wednesday night’s late matchup. The matchup makes him a little risky, but his ceiling in multiple categories still makes him worth considering.

Value

2B Adael Amador, Colorado Rockies at New York Yankees, $3,200 Amador has made a few cameos as a dual-threat prospect for the Rockies in the last few seasons, but the 23-year-old switch-hitter is making a case for an expanded role next season with a strong showing late in the season. He spent most of the year at Triple-A Albuquerque, where he hit .269 with a .363 wOBA, 11 homers and 11 stolen bases. His strikeout rate was only 11% and his hard-hit rate was 34.0%.

He rejoined the team for infield depth at the start of September, and he has been very effective, going 8-for-24 (.333) with two homers, five runs scored, and 10.0 FPTS per game. He brings a little of both power and speed upside in this matchup with Warren at Yankee Stadium, and the young switch-hitter is a solid way to get some value without paying a premium price at 2B.

OUTFIELD

Stud

Juan Soto, New York Mets at Miami Marlins, $6,000 — Soto has had a great series in Miami, picking up two hits in each of the first two games of the NL East series and hitting his 24th homer of the season on Tuesday night on his way to 27 FPTS. Soto has gone 9-for-37 (.243) with a stolen base, a double and three homers in his 10 games since returning from the IL. He has averaged 9.7 FPTS per game over that stretch after posting 7+ FPTS in five of his last six games.

On Wednesday night, Soto and the Mets face righty Janson Junk ($6,500), who has been solid for the Fish overall, but lefties are hitting .293 against him on the season with a .344 wOBA and 43.9% hard-hit rate. Especially with those splits, Soto brings a very high ceiling in Wednesday’s matchup, and he seems to have shaken off the rust from his last IL stint and looks dialed in at the plate.

Value

Spencer Jones, New York Yankees vs. Colorado Rockies, $3,100 Jones went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in the first game of this series against the Rockies, but he was rolling before that and brings great upside in Wednesday’s matchup against Tomoyuki Sugano ($5,000). Jones had 10+ FPTS in four of his previous six games before Tuesday’s letdown, and the hulking 25-year-old lefty is has nine homers and nine stolen bases in his 70 games in the MLB this season, posting a .201 ISO, .333 wOBA, a 53.7% hard-hit rate and a 14.9% barrel rate.

Jones has averaged 9.3 FPTS over his last 10 games by going 10-for-31 with two homers, two doubles and a stolen base. He will be on the strong side of the splits against Sugano, who has allowed 27 home runs this season in his 25 starts. Lefties like Jones have hit .271 against him with 20 of those 27 homers, a .378 wOBA, and a 13.3% barrel rate. With the short porch in right field at Yankee Stadium calling, Jones is a great value play at just over $3,000 in Wednesday’s matchup.
