BREAK IT DOWN:
(Stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)
Rafael Devers 1+ Home Run (+373)
The public is on board with the Rafael Devers pick that I made in my top home run props of the day. Devers has been on fire lately with 10 homers in his last 17 games. He now draws a great matchup with Michael McGreevy, against whom he is 3-for-5 with a pair of homers in past meetings. Devers didn’t homer on Sunday but hit a pair of bombs on Saturday, giving him 35 on the season. Twenty-eight of those dingers have come against righties like McGreevy. Devers has already matched his home run total from last year with several weeks remaining in the season, closing in on his career high of 38 that he set in 2021. He’s a very solid value with upside on Monday night by the Bay.
Kazuma Okamoto 1+ Home Run (+318)
In an even better home run environment, Kazuma Okamoto and the Blue Jays take on Jacob Lopez and the A’s at Sutter Health Park. The 30-year-old Okamoto is up to 28 homers in his first MLB season, and he has four homers in his last 17 games while posting a solid 16.7% barrel rate. Okamoto has been especially effective this season against lefties with a 16.1% barrel rate, a .360 wOBA, and a .250 ISO on that side of his splits. Lopez has been very good lately, but Sutter Health Park has been enough of a launching pad for the public to overlook the specific matchup and back Okamoto in Monday’s late game.
Fernando Tatis Jr. 1+ Home Run (+361)
Fernando Tatis Jr. started Sunday’s game with a home run that began back-to-back-to-back blasts off Gerrit Cole and helped the Padres get a series win over the visiting Yankees. Tatis is a popular play again on Monday as the Padres start a new series by welcoming in Jake Irvin and the Nationals at 5:10 p.m. ET. Irvin has been very homer-prone in his career and has allowed 10 homers in 10 road starts this season. Irvin, who has reverse splits, has allowed a .336 wOBA with five homers to righties on the road. Tatis hasn’t homered against Irvin in their limited meetings in the past, but he has gone deep seven times in his last 17 games. The public expects him to stay hot in Monday’s matchup against Irvin.
3-Pick Same Game Parlay
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a same-game parlay (SGP) and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
