What happened to Trent Grisham? Live injury updates for Yankees vs. Padres on Friday 9/4/26

Update: Trent Grisham left Friday’s game with right hamstring discomfort

In the bottom of the third inning of Friday’s game against the San Diego Padres, Trent Grisham was replaced by Heliot Ramos. Grisham looked to have suffered an injury while patrolling center field in the bottom of the second inning when he was unable to reach a single. Ramos moved to right field while Spencer Jones will now man center field.

Prior to exiting, Grisham went 0-for-0 with a walk.

Since Grisham was removed prior to his second at-bat, he is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
