It has certainly been a start to the season for Tottenham. Two league matches, two losses, and a whole lot of drama off the pitch. Can they right the ship against Nottingham Forest on Saturday? Or will the Reds find a way to get all three points? Find my Tottenham vs. Nottingham Forest prediction below.

Nottingham Forest are +150 favorites on the moneyline for this one on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a draw available at +240. Tottenham’s moneyline is set at +175.

Nottingham Forest vs. Tottenham Prediction, Pick

It’s the start of a transition for Nottingham Forest. They had a disastrous 2025/26 campaign, finishing 16th after going through four different managers. It was a sharp fall after a seventh-place finish in the previous season. Now armed with a war chest after the €135 million sale of Elliot Anderson to Manchester City, they’re focused on remaking this team. The attack got a boost with the arrivals of Liam Delap and Gustavo Sá, while Ousmane Diomande and Daniel Munõz arrived to boost the back line. Along with a free transfer of Xaver Schlager from Leipzig, that’s five total players for the cost of one Anderson. Pretty good business if you ask me.

Through two games, results have been mixed for Oliver Glasner’s side. A frustrating opening-day loss to Leeds United was followed by a gutty 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield. Being non-competitive against a club of similar standing, then punching up on a heavyweight, has to be frustrating for a manager. The hope is that stability will kick in now that the transfers are settled.

Things aren’t going well for Tottenham, plain and simple. They’ve finished one spot above relegation in two straight seasons, a severe embarrassment for a club of their standing. Manager Roberto De Zerbi helped rescue them from the brink last season, but he’s sure not happy with things so far. Tottenham are one of five teams to lose their first two games, and one of three teams not to score a goal so far. And things have only gotten worse during the final hours of the transfer window.

Richarlison, one of their higher-profile players, is extremely unhappy with the club after a transfer fiasco surrounding Iliman Ndiaye and Everton. The Spurs were exploring a move for Ndiaye that was contingent on Richarlison returning to Everton in a swap deal. But something clearly went wrong behind the scenes, as the deal collapsed and Ndiaye was sold to Manchester City. Now Richarlison is taking to social media to clear the air, and it sure doesn’t sound like he is happy with Tottenham.

Now Tottenham must do one of the most difficult things in sport: cut out the noise and play. That’s no easy task against a talented and hungry Nottingham Forest team.

The key to this game is whether or not the Spurs can find an attack. Two of their big summer transfers, Omar Marmoush and Mateus Fernandes, need to drive play up top. Pedro Porro and Andy Robertson must contribute chances from the wide areas as wing-backs. If they can’t put together consistent attacking pressure, their chaotic defense is bound to collapse and concede.

Ultimately, I’m not too confident Tottenham can keep up in attack. Morgan Gibbs-White continues to cook for Forest, and Dan Ndoye may be headed for an anticipated breakout campaign. Forest’s defense has shown quality, too. They’re just the better team overall and will make that known on Saturday.

Best Bet: Nottingham Forest Moneyline (+150)
