Washington is coming off a career-best season, in which he finished extremely strong. In his final four games, Washington scored 29.5, 22, 19.7 and 26.9 FPTs, with that final outing being the Jaguars’ Wild Card loss to the Bills.
During this sensational run, Washington and Trevor Lawrence displayed undeniable chemistry and Washington was clearly the quarterback’s top target.
While running a route on 80% of the team’s dropbacks, Washington saw a target on 30% of his routes, including seven red zone targets and seven targets over 20 yards. The receiver hauled in 68.4% of his targets and he averaged an elite 3.6 YPR.
Washington did all this damage playing alongside both Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers, and now, rumblings out of training camp suggest that Washington has established himself as the Jaguars’ No.1 receiver over Thomas Jr. and Meyers.
2026 Outlook
After his incredible finish to last season and with encouraging reports on Washington all summer, it’s hard not to be bullish on the wideout. Washington appears to be Lawrence’s main pass catcher and this Jaguars’ offense could continue to ascend in its second season under Liam Cohen.
Even if Thomas Jr. has a bounce back season, he and Washington both can coexist as strong fantasy assets in this offense. Washington is locked in as a WR3/FLEX for fantasy football this season and while his ADP continues to rise – he currently has an ADP of 49 for Best Ball drafts on DraftKings – targeting him in this area of drafts is still a sharp move.
