This is a big season for the Packers. It has been a mixed bag for Green Bay in the Jordan Love era, and it is time for the team to take a step forward. However, it will have to happen in an extremely competitive NFC North division.
Below is my pick and prediction for the Packers’ 2026-27 regular season, including a win total bet on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Packers’ win total for the 2026/27 NFL regular season is set at over/under 9.5 wins, with the odds slightly juiced to the over.
Green Bay Packers 2026-27 season prediction
Jordan Love took over as the starting quarterback of the Packers in 2023. The Packers have made the playoffs in all three of those seasons. That is the type of consistency a lot of NFL franchises would love. However, the Packers have only won one playoff game across those three postseason trips, getting knocked out in the Wild Card round in each of the past two seasons. Blowing a 21-3 lead against their division rivals, the Bears, last postseason was a brutal way to end the season for Green Bay. This season, the group needs to not just get back to the postseason, but win a playoff game.
This Packers team is set up to be great. While he still hasn’t consistently been a top-level NFL quarterback, Jordan Love has shown flashes of being a quarterback that could lead a team to a Super Bowl. A big problem is that Love has not consistently had good pass-catchers during his tenure in Green Bay. If the Packers’ receivers can stay healthy, this could finally be the year that clicks. Tucker Kraft is back at tight end, and the receiving trio of Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden has boatloads of potential.
On defense, the Packers made the big move to acquire Micah Parsons last season. Unfortunately, Parsons tore his ACL and missed the postseason for Green Bay. Parsons will miss the first few weeks of this season as well, but hopes to return by Week 6 against his former team. Even without Parsons, there is a lot of talent on this defense. Most notably, Green Bay acquired veteran defensive tackle Javon Hargrave to anchor the middle of that defensive line.

My best bet is for the Packers to get over their win total of 9.5 games.
The Packers are set up to succeed this season, but they are in one of the best divisions in football. The Lions and Bears are both playoff-type teams and will be a tough four games for Green Bay. As far as fourth-best teams in a division go, the Vikings are one of the best. That being said, Green Bay has a chance to start the season strong with games against the Vikings, Jets, Falcons and Buccaneers, plus tilts at home against the Bears and Cowboys. If the Packers can start the season 5-1 before their schedule starts to get really tough, they will be in a great spot.
A back-loaded schedule is what the Packers want. That gives them time to get Parsons back up to full speed before the tougher games come. It also gives Love time to develop chemistry with his receivers that he has just not gotten consistent games out of in recent seasons. If the Packers can be healthy and firing on all cylinders down the back half of the season, they could get on a roll, even against their tough opponents. This is a team that has the talent to win the division and a playoff game or two.
It will come down to health and the play of Jordan Love, but I’m backing the Matt LaFleur-coached team to get to double-digit wins.
