Tottenham started their Premier League campaign with an embarrassing performance, getting dominated by Brentford on their way to a 3-0 loss. Meanwhile, Newcastle looked to have secured the three points against Liverpool until a last second penalty for the Reds earned them a 2-2 draw. Based on what we saw in matchweek 1, Newcastle are in much better shape and that’s why I’m taking them in this one. Let’s not forget that Tottenham were still in a relegation battle until the last game of the season in the previous campaign.
Newcastle have had a great time playing against Spurs recently, winning three of the last four matches. If they can make it four out of five, that would secure this bet as a winner.
