Philadelphia Eagles over/under wins prediction for 2026-27

Philadelphia Eagles over/under wins prediction for 2026-27

The Philadelphia Eagles have won 11+ games in four straight seasons. They have qualified for the playoffs in five straight years and eight of their past nine, including winning the Super Bowl twice across this stretch. Head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts remain in place, with plenty of the same core set to suit up this season. Expectations are high, and the fan base is not patient.

Below is my pick and prediction for the Eagles’ 2026-27 regular season, including a win total bet on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Philadelphia Eagles 2026-27 NFL win total odds

The Eagles’ win total for the 2026-27 NFL regular season is set at over/under 10.5 wins on DraftKings Sportsbook, with Philadelphia holding -140 odds of the win total remaining under and +115 odds of exceeding this line.

Philadelphia Eagles 2026-27 season prediction

The Philadelphia Eagles have a higher floor of production than is the case for most teams in the NFL. The organization has spent years investing in the trenches to dominate at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Injuries limited the impact of the offensive line last season, which played a major role in Saquon Barkley seeing his rushing production drop by 865 yards compared to the previous season, as well as contributing to Jalen Hurts’ struggles.

Despite his career 57-25 record as a starter and the Super Bowl MVP to his name, doubts continue to be shared about Hurts’ outlook. He will never go about his process in the flashiest of ways, but it is tough to argue with the level of success the franchise has achieved with Hurts under center. This will mark his first season since 2021 that Hurts will start without A.J. Brown as his top receiving option. It was a turbulent season for Brown last year with plenty of headlines and distractions, and the three-time Pro Bowler was traded to the Patriots this offseason. DeVonta Smith is expected to step up as the top wide receiver option now, and the Eagles selected USC product Makai Lemon with the 20th-overall pick in the draft. Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown were also brought in and will be expected to contribute.

But the most notable storyline in the offense is the change at offensive coordinator. Sean Mannion was hired as offensive coordinator after Kevin Patullo’s lone year of service. The Eagles’ offensive approach was stale and predictable for the bulk of last season, and this was a driving reason for the team collectively underperforming despite the star-studded roster. Mannion has not worked as an NFL offensive coordinator yet in his career, but most recently spent time on the Packers’ coaching staff and is expected to carry over some similar offensive principles. There have been some early growing pains in preseason as the Eagles become more dependent on short passing routes with the new-look roster, but this is expected given the level of change.

The defensive side of the ball is the biggest reason for optimism for this Eagles team. Philadelphia finished last season ranked fifth in opponents’ points per game and gave up the fewest passing touchdowns in the NFL. The front office further bolstered the unit by trading for EDGE rusher Jonathan Greenard and handing him a notable contract, while also bringing in Riq Woolen at CB. Philadelphia will look for further development from young foundational talents like Jalen Carter, Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and Jihaad Campbell as each begins to hit the prime of their NFL career. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio remains in place, so this is a defensive unit that should be expected to be one of the best in football.

Philadelphia Eagles win total pick

The Philadelphia Eagles have won over 10.5 games in four consecutive seasons, and don’t expect this trend to stop here. This was a flawed team last year with a poor offensive approach and plenty of production left to be desired that still managed to win 11 games. The loss of A.J. Brown is notable and there will be growing pains with this new offense. But this is still one of the most talented rosters in football, and it feels the market overcorrected more than should be the case.

While there is fair reason for optimism for all other teams in the NFC East, there are bigger questions about each. The Dallas Cowboys had a historically bad defense last season and will need to take a major step forward for the team to be a true postseason threat. The work was done this offseason in adding talent, but the production has to occur on the field. John Harbaugh took over the Giants’ head coaching job, providing some stability to the organization, but they won just four games last year, and the injury concerns to Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo are worth acknowledging. Washington regressed from 12-5 in 2024 to 5-12 last season as Jayden Daniels dealt with injuries. The Commanders were ahead of their expected timeline during his rookie season and the league showed signs of catching up last year. This is a big season for Daniels and the rest of the organization. Philadelphia went 1-1 against each of these opponents last year but still managed to tally 11 wins.

Outside of the division, the Eagles will face some winnable matchups against the Titans, Cardinals, Panthers, Steelers, Jaguars, and Colts, among others. There is a business-like approach to the way the Eagles’ organization carries itself, and expect a clear focus on being right back in the Super Bowl-contending category from the start of this season.

Expect the Eagles to lean on their defense heavily throughout the year and to work through the growing pains to find enough effective offense. With a strong offensive line – even if it is no longer the clear best in the league – and the legs of Barkley and Hurts making this team a nightmare to stop in short-yardage situations, all expectations are for this team to be a playoff threat once again. Back the Eagles to deliver over 10.5 regular season wins for the fifth straight year.

Best Bet: Eagles Over 10.5 regular season wins (+115)
