Manager Oliver Glasner left and it will likely take time for the Eagles to find their footing.
Man City had an easy time with Palace last season, beating them both home and away 3-0. I expect this one to be closer, but City should still have enough. They lost Pep Guardiola, they lost Rodri and Bernardo Silva. All of that being said, they still have Rayan Cherki, Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo and Jérémy Doku in the forward positions. It’s more than enough to get the job done here. Man City scored the most goals in the Premier League last season, six more than any other team. They might not be the same team in terms of the middle of the park and who’s in the dugout, but they do still have all of their attacking options from a year ago.
