Dylan Cease More Than 6.5 Strikeouts Thrown (Promo Pick)
Dylan Cease is having arguably the best season of his career in his first season with the Blue Jays. Cease has a 2.37 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP, both top-10 marks in baseball. He ranks second behind Cam Schlittler in AL Cy Young odds, with a real chance of winning the award if he dominates down the stretch. Cease should feel good about this matchup given the fact that he just dominated this Mariners lineup a few weeks ago. In early July, Cease pitched seven shutout innings in Seattle, striking out nine batters in the process.
In this game, Pick6 users just need Cease to throw more than 6.5 strikeouts thanks to this great promo pick. Cease has thrown at least seven strikeouts in seven consecutive starts. His 209 strikeouts overall are the second most in Major League Baseball this season. Meanwhile, the Mariners have struck out the eighth-most times of any team in baseball. Cease should have another great outing against Seattle on Friday night.
Bobby Witt Jr. More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Bobby Witt Jr. is quietly having another excellent season in Kansas City. He is not putting up the MVP-level numbers we have seen in the past, but Witt is batting .289 with an .826 OPS. He is also a world-class defensive shortstop. Witt leads the American League in WAR and is likely going to finish in the top four of the AL MVP vote. He is also playing his best baseball of the season right now. Over the last 15 days, he is batting .327 with a 1.001 OPS.
Witt should be in for a big game against Tanner Bibee and the Guardians. Bibee has not had his best stuff as of late, with a 4.88 ERA across his four starts in August. In Bibee’s most recent start against the Royals, which came in May, he gave up four runs in four innings before getting pulled. That is partially due to a home run from Bobby Witt Jr.. Witt now has three home runs and a 1.233 OPS in 24 career at-bats against Bibee. He should keep that success going and clear this number.
Ben Rice More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
It has been a solid season at the plate for Ben Rice. He leads the Yankees in home runs, RBI and OBP this season. Rice also has an .881 OPS, the best of any eligible Yankee. He has been hot as of late, batting .300 with a .981 OPS over the past week. Rice should be primed to keep that hot streak going against Patrick Sandoval and the Red Sox. Sandoval has a 4.54 ERA and a 1.76 WHIP this season. Left-handers have demolished Sandoval across his eight starts in 2026. Lefties are batting .432 and have a 1.126 OPS against Sandoval this season. Ben Rice has registered more than 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs in each of his past four games and should keep that streak going tonight.
