DraftKings is all about being in on the action, so it only makes sense that we would want to find a way to honor Action Figures — in sports, in culture and beyond.

Action Figures are not just fans — they’re builders, creators, competitors and doers who don’t wait for the moment, they step into it and shape it. Being an Action Figure is all about mindset. There’s no one way to be an Action Figure – in fact we’ve identified 12 different Action Figures archetypes — but Action Figures all have one thing in common. They make the move!

Part of highlighting Action Figures in sports and culture, DraftKings is launching a new series on our YouTube channel. Hosted by the legendary Set Free Richardson, Action Figures drops real action-takers into the environments that shaped them—revealing the decisions, people and bets that define how they move.

And who better to serve as the first guest than New York Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony. Listen as Melo chops it up and unpacks the DNA of what makes him who he is on and off the court. Melo talks about the current energy in New York, what it means to put on a Knicks uniform and the responsibility it carries, how learning more about who he was helped him thrive in the Big Apple and his philosophy as a businessman. Then we find out which Action Figure archetype correlates to Melo’s unique DNA through his answer to five core questions and how he exudes Brick Boss energy.

Make sure to keep an eye on Melo’s socials for how you can enter to win the 1-of-1 Carmelo Anthony signed Action Figures DNA card and case from the debut episode. Plus, subscribe to the Draftkings YouTube channel and click the bell icon for notifications so you never miss an Action Figures episode.

Remember, life’s more fun when you’re in on the action!
