Season 10 of Dana White’s Contender Series continues on Tuesday night, with the Week 3 action featuring a middleweight clash between Carlos Petruzzella and Nick Galanti.

Petruzzella (15–1) rebounded from his first professional loss with a pair of first-round knockout wins in Samurai Fight House. Galanti (7–1) has won five straight bouts and recently captured 185-pound gold in Cage Fury FC.

Galanti enters as a -260 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Petruzzella sits as a +195 underdog.

Petruzzella vs. Galanti Preview

Carlos Petruzzella

  • 15–1 Overall
  • 7–1 (T)KO
  • 8–0 SUB

Carlos Petruzzella has been a serious problem in regional promotion Samurai Fight House. The Argentine prospect, 29, boasts a 100 percent career finish rate, blending chaos on the feet with an aggressive ground game. However, “El Tito” was quickly humbled in his first foray outside of the promotion — getting stopped in the first round of his May 2025 bout with Joseilton Santos in LFA. After returning to Samurai and recapturing the promotion’s title, Petruzzella is hungry to prove that he can hang at the sport’s highest level.

Nick Galanti

  • 7–1 Overall
  • 1–0 (T)KO
  • 4–0 SUB

Nick Galanti is coming off a big title win over the previously undefeated Austin Clayton in Cage Fury FC, one of the premier feeder organizations for the UFC. A high-level jiu-jitsu competitor, the 28-year-old blends a powerful ground game with a lethal submission arsenal. He rides into the Meta APEX on a five-fight surge, looking to punctuate his run with a UFC contract offer.

Petruzzella vs. Galanti Prediction, Pick

Nick Galanti may not have the same gaudy finish rate as his opponent, but his strength of schedule in Cage Fury FC should give him the edge against stoppage artist Carlos Petruzzella. The Argentine prospect has yet to prove himself outside of Samurai Fight House, making it unclear just how dangerous he is against stronger competition. Given that Petruzzella has never gone to a decision in his life, Galanti should follow the trend and score his sixth career stoppage victory.

Prediction: Nick Galanti by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission
