A 15-game, 30-team MLB slate is on tap for Tuesday. For those looking to cash in quickly on a bet, nothing makes more sense than an NRFI. With that being said, there’s more to this one than meets the eye. Some pitchers thrive early, while others take more time to get settled in than others. Which NRFI picks are worth a closer look on Tuesday?
Ahead of today’s Major League Baseball contests, here are two NRFI bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best NRFI Prop Bets Today
| Game | Pitching Matchup |
| Guardians vs. Angels NRFI (-155) | Williams vs. Ureña |
| Pirates vs. Padres NRFI (-145) | Skenes vs. King |
Guardians vs. Angels NRFI (-155)
Gavin Williams will take the mound for his 27th start of the season tonight. The right-hander comes into this one with a 3.72 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 201 strikeouts (11.7 K/9). Williams has allowed a first inning run only once over his last ten games (90% NRFI). The 27-year-old’s knack for generating whiffs should come in handy this evening. Los Angeles batters are striking out an American League-worst 9.42 times per game. To boot, the Angels rank last in the majors with a .681 OPS against right-handed pitching. No team has scored fewer runs than the Halos since July 1st (148).
LA will counter with a promising arm of their own in Walbert Ureña. Despite playing without much run support, the rookie has been nothing short of fantastic. Through 112.2 innings of work (21 starts), he’s notched a 2.80 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 109 strikeouts (8.7 K/9). In addition, the youngster comes into Tuesday’s matchup on a ten-game NRFI streak. He has yet to allow a run in the first inning during 12 appearances at Angel Stadium. There’s a decent chance that continues tonight against a terrible Guardians lineup. Cleveland is averaging baseball’s third-fewest runs per game (4.02) in addition to the league’s eighth-worst YRFI rate on the road (23.88%).
Pirates vs. Padres NRFI (-145)
Few superstars have struggled more than Paul Skenes this season. The reigning NL Cy Young winner hasn’t looked like himself for much of 2026. Over 139.0 innings pitched (26 starts), he’s produced a 3.95 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 171 strikeouts (11.1 K/9). Those numbers, while decent, aren’t what fans have come to expect from the All-Star. Fortunately, he’s remained one of the sport’s best in the first inning. Skenes possesses a stellar 85% NRFI rate over the past two seasons. The Padres have improved in recent weeks on offense, but this isn’t the most prolific lineup. San Diego is averaging 4.06 runs per game at home, eighth-fewest in the majors. To boot, the Friars own a National League-worst 23.48% YRFI rate.
San Diego will hand the ball to one of their top arms tonight in Michael King. The hurler comes into this one with a 3.38 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 128 strikeouts (7.7 K/9) during 149.0 innings of work. Even more important, he enters Tuesday’s contest on a five-game NRFI streak. Over the past two seasons, King has recorded an 83% NRFI rate. The Pirates have been an absolute force at the plate, but not as much lately. Pittsburgh has only scored 39 runs over its last ten games, tied for 11th-lowest during that time. The Buccos also average nearly one run per game less when playing on the road. That bodes well for King’s chances at a clean top of the first.
