Cleveland Browns over/under wins prediction for 2026-27

The Browns have a new head coach, Todd Monken, for this season. However, they still have the same old quarterback issues. It has been two straight miserable seasons for the Browns, and Monken will hope he can turn that around.

Below is my pick and prediction for the Browns’ 2026-27 regular season, including a win total bet on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Cleveland Browns 2026/27 NFL win total odds

The Browns’ win total for the 2026/27 NFL regular season is set at over/under 5.5 wins, with the odds slightly juiced to the over.

Cleveland Browns 2026/27 season prediction

This Browns season will likely come down to the quarterback play. The defense will not be the same without Myles Garrett, but they still have a solid group on that side of the ball. Mason Graham, Jared Verse and Carson Schwesinger highlight the young talent that Cleveland has in the front seven. If the Browns struggle this season, it’s hard to imagine it being because of the defense.

Offensively, the Browns have a lot of question marks. They have some promising young talent that showed a lot of promise in their rookie seasons. Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. both have a chance to put together big sophomore seasons for the Browns. However, outside of that, the Browns have a lot of unknown commodities. Cleveland’s 2026 first-round pick, Spencer Fano, will be starting at left tackle. The Browns could also be starting two rookie receivers, KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, alongside Jerry Jeudy.

If all of those pieces hit, which is a lot to ask, the Browns would be just a quarterback away from being a competitive team. However, that is the obvious issue in Cleveland. The Browns leveraged the entire franchise for Deshaun Watson prior to the 2022 season. In the four seasons since then, Watson has played a total of 19 games for the Browns. That move set the franchise back years, but the Browns are hoping this is the year Watson finally plays a full season at quarterback.

Last season, two rookies, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, battled for the QB1 role. Sanders emerged as the better option, but neither proved to be a worthy NFL starter. So, Watson will likely be the starter for Week 1. However, there is no reason to believe that Watson will stay healthy or even play at a particularly high level. If the Browns need to go to Sanders or Gabriel, the offense will struggle to score points, just like last season.

Cleveland Browns win total pick

My win total pick for the Browns is for them to finish with under 5.5 wins. The Browns have not won more than five games in either of the past two seasons, so it’s hard to pass up getting under 5.5 wins at plus-money. The Cleveland defense should be a solid unit, but did lose the player who just set the single-season sack record. The absence of Myles Garrett could have an even bigger effect than anticipated.

Offensively, the Browns are relying on almost entirely players in their rookie or sophomore season to carry the load. While it’s nice to have a lot of young talent, that is not a recipe that is easy to rely on. The only thing more unreliable than a young group like that is Deshaun Watson. This will be his 10th season in the NFL, and he has only played more than seven games in a season three times. That is truly abysmal. He has also not played very well during his limited action with the Browns.

There are certainly reasons to be optimistic for Cleveland fans. If the young talent looks good, the Browns could go out and get a quarterback of the future next offseason. However, the quarterback situation prevents me from having any faith in this team, especially in such a tough division.

Best Bet: Browns under 5.5 regular season wins (+115)
