The TOUR Championship is the final round of the FedExCup Playoffs. There are 30 golfers left at East Lake Golf Club to try to claim the end-of-season title on the PGA TOUR.

This is a look at the best first-round leader bets to make for the event on DraftKings Sportsbook.

TOUR Championship: First Round Leader Picks

There are just 30 players left in the FedExCup Playoffs, all looking to claim the TOUR Championship and the 10 million dollar prize that comes with it. For the second year running, there will no longer be a starting strokes advantage. All 30 players are starting in the same spot and playing a standard 72-hole tournament for the title. There will, however, be no cut before the weekend. The defending champion at East Lake is Tommy Fleetwood.

East Lake Golf Club is a par-70 course that ranges 7,440 yards. It is one of the longest courses on the PGA TOUR, but also requires a lot of precision. There are tough water features, relatively narrow fairways and fast greens. All of that being said, it’s not an overly complicated setup. While the course is challenging, the players who can hit long and straight off the tee and tight to pins from the fairway will perform the best at East Lake.

Collin Morikawa FRL (+2000)

Collin Morikawa is underpriced this week at the TOUR Championship. Morikawa is one of the best players in the world when he is in form. He may have found that form just in time for East Lake. Morikawa had an excellent T4 finish at last week’s BMW Championship. He continues to show up on the biggest stages of the PGA TOUR calendar this season. Morikawa won at Pebble Beach, finished T7 at the Masters and was inside the top 20 at both The Open and the US Open.

Morikawa has the length and accuracy off the tee needed to succeed at East Lake. Most importantly, he has been one of the best iron players in the world all season. He leads the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained: Approach to Green in 2026. Morikawa has also played well at East Lake in the past. He shot an excellent opening round of 64 last year, which had him tied for third after Thursday. Morikawa is more than capable of putting together another superb opening round that could put him in the lead after the first day of action at the TOUR Championship.

Tom Kim FRL (+3000)

Tom Kim is one of the furthest players down the odds board this week. However, Kim is playing much better than those odds give him credit for. Kim is a very streaky player, so week by week or round by round, he can have some poor results. However, when at his best, he can get hot and outduel the best players in the world. Kim just won the Scottish Open a few weeks ago. He also had a nice T5 finish at the Wyndham and a T12 finish at the St. Jude.

This is just Kim’s second-ever TOUR Championship appearance, making it back to the final round of the playoffs for the first time since 2023. He barely snuck in this year, getting the 29th spot in the field. However, Kim’s overall play deserves making it this far. He has been great in the second-half of the season, including a third-place finish at the US Open. His iron play has been world-class, ranking fourth on the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained: Approach to Green this season. If Kim gets hot, he can go as low as anybody in this field. At 30/1, it’s worth a shot on him to lead after Thursday’s round.
