An already banged up Yankees rotation has suffered another crucial blow. Ryan Weathers, arguably the team’s best starter over the past two months, left early during Saturday’s game vs. the Blue Jays. He made his exit with a trainer during the fourth inning.
The left-hander appeared to suffer some elbow discomfort after throwing a sweeper pitch against Toronto’s Myles Straw. As a replacement, the Yankees brought in reliever Yerry De Los Santos.
Since Weathers exited after facing more than five batters, he is not eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.

UPDATE: The Yankees announced that Weathers left the game due to right elbow discomfort. He’ll undergo further imaging on Saturday.
