Tough news for the Seattle Mariners. With the season hanging by a thread, one of their key contributors will be out of the lineup. Infielder Brendan Donovan was scratched at the last minute after getting hit in the head by a baseball in the batting cages before the game.
The veteran infielder has struggled to stay healthy all season, and Weston Wilson got the start at third base.
