The 2026 Pacific Classic has arrived! This race is taking place at Del Mar Race Course in Del Mar, California. The Pacific Classic G1 race has a post time of 9:43 p.m. ET and is airing on FS1. The Pacific Classic began in 1991. The field features 11 horses, led by favorite Knightsbridge, who won the Monmouth Cup Stakes in July.

9:50 p.m. ET: Knightsbridge wins the 2026 Pacific Classic!

Knightsbridge has won the 2026 Pacific Classic with trainer William I. Mott and jockey Junior Alvarado. The team takes home the $1 million purse and clinched a berth to the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Knightsbridge was a 5/2 favorite on the morning before the race and won in dominant fashion.
