This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. Usually the German Super Cup takes place between the Bundesliga winners and the DFB-Pokal winners. Since Bayern Munich won both, the Bundesliga runners-up will face off against them.
These teams met twice last season, with Bayern Munich winning both matchups. They beat Dortmund 2-1 in the home fixture, and followed that up with a 3-2 victory in the road game. Bayern didn’t have a lot of success in the previous four fixtures before that, only winning one of those. But this Bayern team is different. They won the Bundesliga by 16 points and scored a whopping 122 times in 34 games. That’s an average of just over 3.5 goals scored per game and 51 more goals than any other team. The 2026/27 team is mostly intact from a year ago, so another season of domestic domination is very much on the cards.
Bayern should win this one, but I do expect Dortmund to find themselves on the scoresheet. They have scored at least one goal in each of the last five meetings between these sides. I don’t think it will be enough, however, as Bayern are a scoring machine and will likely net a few on their way to winning the German Super Cup.
