Maikel Garcia just can not stay healthy.

Just days after being reinstated from a two-month stint on the IL, Garcia exited this afternoon’s game against the Athletics with what appeared to be a serious hamstring injury.

It’s the continuation of what’s been a very disappointing campaign for the infielder. Garcia broke out with a 5.6 fWAR in 2025, but in 309 plate appearances in 2026, the 26-year-old has been limited to a .269/.324/.385 with a 96 wRC+.

Because Garcia left Thursday’s tilt prior to his second plate appearance, he is eligible for DraftKings’ Early Exit promo. All qualifying bets will be honored and tagged as Early Exit Protected.
