Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home run props during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.

Here are my top two home run prop picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for the night-half of Wednesday’s slate: Griffin Conine and Elly De La Cruz.

Let’s break them down.

Best MLB Home Run Bets Today

Best MLB Home Run Bets TodayOddsWhy I Like the Pick
Griffin Conine+334Aaron Nola has surrendered a long ball in 11 of his last 12 appearances, with seven of those 11 outings featuring multiple homers. You don’t luck into being the lone pitcher in baseball to concede at least 30 opponent home runs. Meanwhile, Conine is finally healthy and he’s producing at a level that even the most optimistic couldn’t have anticipated. Since the ASG, ince the All-Star break, Conine ranks fifth in home runs (9) and third among qualified bats in slugging percentage (.611).
Elly De La Cruz+305De La Cruz has done a complete 180 against left-handed pitching in 2026. Always his weaker side, the switch-hitter is suddenly slashing a cool .333/.402/.658 within the split with a .324 ISO and a 179 wRC+. He should do some real damage against Matthew Liberatore at Great American Ball Park this evening, a southpaw who is surrendering a career-worst 1.51 opponent long balls per nine so far this season.

In-depth analysis below.

Top MLB Home Run Props Today

Griffin Conine 1+ Home Run (+334)

Aaron Nola has actually looked pretty good in his past two starts, yet he’s still given up a home run in each. That’s simply the book on Nola at this point in his career. The former first-round pick has surrendered a long ball in 11 of his last 12 appearances, with seven of those 11 outings featuring multiple homers. You don’t luck into being the lone pitcher in baseball to concede at least 30 opponent home runs, either. Nola owns first percentile fastball run value in 2026, along with an 18th percentile opponent barrel rate (9.7%). Really, the only question during a Nola outing is: Who on the other team is going to be the one to find the seats? On Wednesday, I have my eye on Conine. The 29-year-old is finally healthy and he’s producing at a level that even the most optimistic couldn’t have anticipated. In fact, since the All-Star break, Conine ranks fifth in home runs (9). He also sits third among qualified bats in slugging percentage (.611) and fourth in wRC+ (168). Not too shabby.

Elly De La Cruz 1+ Home Run (+305)

I was torn between backing De La Cruz and Sal Stewart (+295), but the former has the longer odds and the better stats, so if you can only choose one, make it him. De La Cruz has done a complete 180 against left-handed pitching in 2026. Always his weaker side, the switch-hitter is suddenly slashing a cool .333/.402/.658 within the split with a .324 ISO and a 179 wRC+. We’ve gone from people claiming he should give up switch-hitting — myself included — to it being his preferred side. Wild. Overall, De La Cruz also sports an 98th percentile average exit velocity (93.9) and a 94th percentile hard hit rate (51.5%). He should do some real damage against Matthew Liberatore at Great American Ball Park this evening. A southpaw who is surrendering a career-worst 1.51 opponent long balls per nine so far this season.
