DraftKings WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 8/19/26

By: Bill Yin

We only have two games on the slate tonight, tipping off at 7:30 PM EST as the Mystics host the Tempo. The Lynx will visit the Valkyries at 10 PM EST.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Kiki Iriafen More than 9.5 Rebounds

Toronto has had few answers for Kiki Iriafen on the glass this season, with the Mystics forward collecting 16 and 14 rebounds in her two appearances against the Tempo. That isn’t just a convenient head-to-head trend, either, as Toronto is allowing 43.7 opponent rebounds per game, the third-most in the WNBA, and that number has climbed to 45.3 over its last three. Iriafen sits slightly below this line with 9.1 RPG for the season, but she has already demonstrated that this particular matchup bodes well for her.

Washington dominated Toronto 47-26 on the boards in their July meeting, with Iriafen accounting for 14 of those rebounds herself. With the 20-14 Mystics still playing meaningful games down the stretch, another full workload should give Iriafen a strong chance to get into double figures.

Napheesa Collier Less than 18.5 Points

The interesting part of Napheesa Collier’s 18.5-point line is that recent form actually points slightly toward More than 18.5, but we have to remember that Collier will be facing off against the premier defense in the W. The Valkyries lead the WNBA in both defensive rating and scoring defense, allowing just 76.7 PPG, and no team gives up fewer points in the paint than their 32.7 per game.

They also have enough defensive personnel to throw various covers at Collier throughout the night, with Kiah Stokes, Kayla Thornton, and several other Valkyries ranking among the league’s individual defensive-rating leaders. Collier missed Minnesota’s first two wins over Golden State, so Natalie Nakase is preparing for her for the first time this season rather than simply repeating an earlier game plan. There is plenty at stake despite both teams already clinching playoff spots, as second-place Golden State sits three games behind the league-leading Lynx and is still searching for its first win over Minnesota.

Gabby Williams Less than 14.5 Points

Gabby Williams is coming off a 23-point performance against Dallas, but Minnesota has already made her work much harder for offense than most teams this season. Williams scored only five points in the first meeting and 15 in the rematch, meaning she has barely cleared tonight’s number even in her better showing against the Lynx. Minnesota owns the WNBA’s third-best scoring defense at 83.8 opponent PPG, and this version of the matchup is even different because Collier, one of the league’s most disruptive defensive forwards, missed both earlier meetings. Williams has enjoyed the best scoring season of her career at 14.9 PPG, but Natalie Nakase has also intentionally kept her workload around 25 minutes per game as part of Golden State’s longer-term reconditioning plan. Against a deep Minnesota defense in a matchup that Golden State has yet to solve, that combination makes 15 points a fairly demanding threshold.
