Blue Jays vs. Rays NRFI (-140)
Toronto’s trade deadline saw the defending AL champs ship off several key pieces. However, the club also brought in one of the biggest names on the market in Jose Soriano. So far, the Dominican has continued to pitch well with his new club. Through 133.2 innings of work ( starts) this season, he’s notched a 3.16 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 134 strikeouts (9.0 K/9). As a member of the Blue Jays, he’s sporting a 1.69 ERA over two outings. Even more impressive, the right-hander comes into Tuesday on an 11-game NRFI streak. Back in June, as a member of the Angels, Soriano held the Rays scoreless over five innings. A repeat performance wouldn’t come as a surprise for the ground ball specialist tonight.
As for Tampa Bay, it’ll be standout hurler Nick Martinez. The All-Star has made waves in Florida, going from journeyman to key rotation piece for the AL East leaders. He’s not a perfect pitcher by any means, opting for weak contact instead of strikeouts. Still, a 2.74 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over 138.0 innings speaks for itself. Martinez has allowed a first inning run in just three of his 23 appearances this season (87.0% NRFI). He won’t need to be at his absolute best this evening. Toronto’s offense has posted an MLB-worst 21.43% YRFI rate. In addition, the team sits at the bottom of the league in runs per game (3.90). Martinez has held the Jays to just one earned run in each of his two meetings with the club this season.
Mariners vs. Brewers NRFI (-135)
Despite looking sharp for most of 2026, Bryce Miller has hit a speed bump over the past few weeks. The right-hander has coughed up at least four earned runs in three of his last four contests. Still, his season-long numbers remain solid. Through 85.0 innings of work (14 starts), he’s put up a 3.39 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 84 strikeouts (8.9 K/9). To boot, Miller comes into this one with a stellar 78.6% NRFI rate. The Brewers, Tuesday’s opponents, are no pushovers at the plate. With that being said, they only rank 20th in the majors on offense with a 28.0% YRFI rate. Milwaukee has scored 37 runs over its last ten matchups, eighth-worst in baseball during that stretch.
On the other side, it’ll be Kyle Harrison toeing the slab tonight. It’s been a breakout campaign from the 25-year-old, emerging as a reliable top of the rotation arm for Milwaukee. Over 93.1 innings (19 starts), he’s delivered a 2.99 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 114 strikeouts (11.0 K/9). He’s been almost unhittable at the pitcher-friendly confines of American Family Field (1.38 ERA). Now, Harrison will get to face a Mariners club averaging the second-fewest runs per game in baseball (3.91). In addition, Seattle also has the second-lowest OPS against left-handed pitching (.646). There’s nothing that suggests a high-scoring performance from the visitors in this one.
