There are three games of WNBA action taking place across tonight’s Sunday slate.
A pair of matchups will take place at 5:00 p.m. ET, as the Indiana Fever take on the Atlanta Dream while the Chicago Sky face the Seattle Storm. Two hours later, the slate will close down with a matchup between the Portland Fire and the Phoenix Mercury. The WNBA playoffs are right on the horizon with roughly 10 regular-season games remaining, and the intensity is heating up across the league.
With plenty of action on the table, there are plenty of ways to get involved on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my top player props for tonight’s WNBA slate.

Caitlin Clark Over 9.5 Assists (-102)
The Indiana Fever will be facing off with the Atlanta Dream for the fourth and final time this season. As is typically the case with the Fever, Caitlin Clark will continue to carry significant offensive responsibility. The three-time All-Star is posting averages of 21.9 points and 8.3 assists per game this season, even while battling through some injury issues for stretches this year. Clark has especially showcased her playmaking as of late, averaging 9.4 assists across her past 10 games and recording over 9.5 assists in seven of these matchups.
Atlanta is a bit of a confusing team to profile defensively. It ranks fourth in the WNBA in opponent points per game and fourth in defensive rating overall. But the Dream also rank dead last in opponent field-goal percentage and opponent three-point percentage. While they do a solid job of limiting opposing teams’ scoring attempts, their efficiency is not strong in these defensive opportunities. Clark has not been particularly strong from a playmaking perspective in this matchup this year, averaging 23.0 points and 7.3 assists across the three games played. But these teams have not played since June 20th, and both Clark and the Fever have hit a new gear since this point.
Expect plenty of defensive attention to be sent in Clark’s direction by the Dream. She is at the epicenter of the team’s production and will look to leverage this type of defense to create shots for others. The Fever do an excellent job pushing the pace and making an effort to force opposing teams to play at their pace, with Clark the driving force of this. Expect her to have success creating scoring chances in transition and for Atlanta to struggle with this pace. The reigning WNBA assist champion has looked much improved physically than what was seen in the early parts of the season, and the results are showing as such. Count on Clark masterfully pulling the strings of this Indiana attack and using her scoring gravity to record over 9.5 assists for the 12th time this season and eighth time across her past 11.
Kamilla Cardoso Over 9.5 Rebounds (+110)
The Chicago Sky will take on the Seattle Storm tonight in a matchup that Kamilla Cardoso should be expected to shine in. Seattle enters with a 7-29 record, ranking 13th in points per game, 13th in offensive rating, 10th in opponent points per game and 12th in defensive rating. From a rebounding perspective, the Storm rank sixth in rebounds per game, but 14th in opponent rebounds allowed and 11th in rebounding rate overall.
Looking at Cardoso’s production, the 25-year-old is posting averages of 14.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game on the season. Her rebounding output has grown as the season has come along, with 9.0 rebounds per game across her past 11. Cardoso has tallied over 9.5 rebounds in 12 games this season, and five of her past nine.
There is not a lot of size on Chicago outside of Cardoso, and expect her to be in a clear position to dominate on the boards of this favorable matchup. Excluding Cardoso, Azura Stevens pulls in the second-most rebounds per game on the Sky at 6.7 per game, and no other active player pulls in more than four per contest. Cardoso was only active for one matchup against the Storm this season, and she tallied 13 rebounds, including seven on the offensive glass. Expect her to shine in this area again and pull in double-digit rebounds for the 13th time this year.
Kahleah Copper Over 21.5 Points (-119)
Closing down the WNBA slate, the Portland Fire will take on the Phoenix Mercury. It is important to note the injury report for this matchup as prized trade acquisition Kelsey Plum will remain sidelined due to a lower left leg issue. Plum is posting averages of 17.3 points across her first four games in Phoenix, and she will leave plenty of room for offensive production in her absence.
Expect Kahleah Copper to further step into the spotlight and lead the scoring production tonight. The five-time All-Star leads the Mercury with 20.6 points per game, and she has scored over 21.5 points in 13 games this season. Copper missed the lone matchup with the Fire this year, but she will be eager to attack against a Portland team that ranks 13th in opponent points per game and 14th in defensive rating. It also ranks 12th in opponent field-goal percentage, ninth in opponent three-point percentage and 10th in opponent three-point attempts allowed.
Copper is the headline scorer for this Mercury team regardless of who is on the floor, and this will especially be the case without Plum. Expect both these teams to make an effort to get up and down the floor at a high rate, and for the defensive issues on this Fire team to plague them. Copper attempts 4.9 more shots per game than any other player on the Phoenix roster, and she will not be shy to get the reps up against this vulnerable opponent. Count on the former Finals MVP to lead the scoring charge and record over 21.5 points tonight.
