Not since 2015-18 had a team repeated in the Champions League, but last season, Paris Saint-Germain joined that list, following its 2024/25 maiden triumph with another title in 2025/26. The first title lifted Ousmane Dembélé to his maiden Ballon d’Or, and after scoring the equalizing goal in the final in 2025/26 and putting together a strong World Cup as France finished fourth, he could conceivably get another.
Dembélé’s 2026/27 season will begin with a chance at more silverware, as he’ll likely lead the line for Paris Saint-Germain as it takes on Europa League winners Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup, set to be played at 3 p.m. ET (9 p.m. local) in Salzburg, Austria.
Below, I’ve broken down my favorite Dembélé prop for the season-opening match.

PSG is a -140 favorite to win in regular time (-250 to lift the trophy) at DraftKings Sportsbook, and the Villans are +320 (+195 to win the Cup). There are +280 odds that the teams will go to penalties.
Ousmane Dembélé Best Prop Bet
Ousmane Dembélé 1+ Shot on Target – Outside the Box (+185): I doubt Dembélé will play the full 90 minutes, but he’s both audacious and clinical from outside the box, netting two of his five goals from distance in the World Cup. Villa is thin in the defense with Ezri Konsa out.

Dembélé only recently returned to training after a deep World Cup run with Les Bleus, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he doesn’t play the entire match. Although Paris is expected to take the match seriously, Les Parisiens are extremely deep in the attack, as even after getting rid of both Gonçalo Ramos and Lee Kang-In, Senny Mayulu could have earned an expanded opportunity and young winger Ibrahim Mbaye had a tremendous World Cup with Senegal. I don’t feel comfortable backing Dembélé to record two shots on target (+170) overall in case he only plays the first half, but he’s both daring and efficient from long range, scoring two of his five World Cup goals from beyond the edge of the box.
Aston Villa has a pretty good defense, but it has some question marks. Left-back Lucas Digne, Dembélé’s national team teammate, might’ve marked him, but he’s now made the move to PSG. Plus, while the Villans brought back their center-back partnership of Ezri Konsa and Pau Torres, Konsa will not participate in the Super Cup, as he’s still resting after England’s run to the semifinals. That’ll likely leave Tyrone Mings to pair with Torres, and Mings played just four minutes in the Europa League knockout stage last season. Dembélé should be able to find plenty of space from beyond the box to fire at Villa’s backup goalie, Marco Bizot.
