Tough break for Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene. The former All-Star took a pitch off the knee in Tuesday’s game, and though he stayed in the game to run the bases, he was replaced defensively in the next half-inning.
It’s at least a good sign that Greene was able to run the bases and score on a double, but adrenaline is a tricky thing. On the season, Greene has a .810 OPS with 16 home runs and 54 RBI.
Since Greene exited after his first at-bat, he will be eligible for the DraftKings Early Exit program.
