AEW Continental Cup Tournament
AEW has announced the new Continental Cup tournament, which will determine the next AEW Continental Champion. The tournament features 16 wrestlers competing in eight first-round matches, with no outside interference and no time limits.
Unlike a traditional bracket, the Continental Cup matches are determined by a random blind draw. After the opening round, the eight winners will go back into the pool for another blind draw to determine the four second-round matches. The four winners from that round will advance to the semifinals in Glasgow, Scotland, on August 26.
The Continental Cup Final will take place at AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium on August 30. The winner of the tournament will win the Continental Cup and become the new AEW Continental Champion.
