President Curtis is off and running, picking up where Rick and Morty Season 9 left off. The Keith David-starring spinoff is a couple of episodes in, making itself comfortable as Adult Swim’s headlining Sunday night show. The bonkers sci-fi concepts and raunchy humor from the mothership series remain intact, as does the signature animation style.

When does President Curtis Season 1 Episode 3 come out?
President Curtis Season 1 Episode 3 will premiere on Adult Swim at 11:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, August 9. The episode, which is titled Ex, will have a runtime around 22 minutes. It will be available to stream on HBO Max on Monday, August 10.
As was the case with the past eight seasons of Rick and Morty, President Curtis Season 1 will be 10 episodes long. It won’t be a miniseries, either, since Adult Swim has already renewed the show for Season 2.

Who will show up this episode?
President Curtis has quickly established its core cast of characters, introducing plenty of fresh faces to surround Curtis himself – the titular character has had the same voice actor since Rick and Morty Season 2. Another notable voice debuted in Episode 2, presumably as a character who could pop up again. Here is a look at the recurring voice cast, as well as who they are playing:

Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden made cameos as Rick and Morty, respectively, in the pilot. They could show up again later this season, but they probably won’t intrude too much. Kristen Schaal’s Amelia Earhart, Adam Pally’s prison guard and John Michael Higgins’ Warden Ken Jeffries, on the other hand, were likely one-off appearances in Episode 2. There are other celebrities expected to voice original characters later in the season, from Sam Richardson to Timothy Simons and Gillian Jacobs.
What to expect in President Curtis Season 1 Episode 3
Based on the lookahead to Episode 3, the government is going to try to split up Curtis’ central trio. O’Doyle seems to be losing his spot to Special Agent Chomps. Curtis, however, isn’t happy with the swap since Chomps is apparently a “normie,” unlike the half-leprehcuan member of his Secret Service. The episode’s synopsis is as follows:
“Curtis gets invited to his ex-wife’s inauguration gala. Banks and O’Doyle must undergo a job evaluation at a fully-immersive offsite facility.”
