The Canadian Open is underway, but there is still plenty of time to get futures bets in before the tournament heats up.
These are my 2026 Canadian Open best bets to target on DraftKings Sportsbook in the futures market.

Marta Kostyuk Moneyline (-141) vs. Madison Keys
Marta Kostyuk has been one of the best players in the world in 2026. She went on a remarkable clay run, then followed that up with a trip to the Wimbledon semi-finals. After a long layoff, Kostyuk is now hoping to take that momentum into the hardcourt season. Kostyuk played great at this tournament last year, making the quarter-finals, where she got injured in her match against Elena Rybakina.
Madison Keys was also a quarter-finalist here in Canada last year. However, Keys has not had nearly as successful a 2026 as Kostyuk has. Most recently, Keys lost her first match at the Citi Open despite being the No. 6 seed. Keys definitely plays her best tennis on the hardcourt, but she is playing nowhere near the best tennis of her career at the moment. After ending 2025 as the No. 7 player in the world, Keys now sits at No. 23. She is not playing great tennis, and the in-form Kostyuk should take care of her here.
Luciano Darderi Moneyline (-104) vs. Juncheng Shang
Luciano Darderi has had a great year. At 24 years old, he hit his career-high ATP ranking of No. 16 earlier this year and currently sits at No. 22 in the world. He made three ATP finals this year, including winning the title in Chile. Darderi is clearly a clay specialist, but had some respectable showings on hardcourt this year as well. He had a nice upset over Karen Khachanov at the Australian Open, where he eventually made it to the fourth round before losing to Jannik Sinner. However, the next few weeks will be a big test to see if Darderi can finish out his season strong on hardcourt.
Juncheng Shang just pulled off the biggest win of his career at 21 years old. He took down the World No. 16 Andrey Rublev in the Round of 64 on Monday. He is a young player with some potential, but he missed most of this year with an injury. He was able to play in the Citi Open in the lead-up to this tournament, but prior to that, he had not played since Dubai in February. While the win over Rublev was massive, it’s hard to see Shang keeping up that level after so much time away from the court. It is worth a bet on Darderi as a small underdog in this match.
