What to expect in Season 4 of Ted Lasso
Throughout the first three seasons, Ted Lasso and Coach Beard led AFC Richmond, a men’s soccer team. The show did an excellent job of showing their transition to living in a new country and the ups and downs of the team. But at the end of Season 3, we saw Lasso go home to be with his family while Rebecca Welton, the team owner, weighed the team’s future.
As you can see in the trailer, Lasso appears to have returned to AFC Richmond but has a new challenge ahead. That is because he will now coach a women’s soccer team for the first time. As Lasso settles into his role with the team, this is a fresh start for him. Roy Kent is returning as a coach, but the players will feature characters that are new to the team and show. After Season 3 ended, the vibes with everyone involved were down, but now with a new team, it seems to have reenergized all of the players and the team staff.
