For the final event before the FedEx Cup Playoffs, the PGA TOUR is hosting the Wyndham Championship at the Donald Ross-designed Sedgefield Country Club (par 70, 7,131 yards, Bermuda greens) in Greensboro, North Carolina. Sedgefield has been the site of the Wyndham Championship since 2008 and Cameron Young (-22) is the defending champion after winning by six strokes a year ago. There will be 145 golfers competing and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds this week. Following the Wyndham Championship, only the top-70 players in the FedEx Cup standings will advance to next week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Top Golf DFS Picks for the 2026 Wyndham Championship
Tom Kim ($9,200)
Kim won by a convincing five strokes in his first start at Sedgefield in 2022 and he put on a show in the final round, carding a career-low 9-under 61. Kim visited Sedgefield for the second time last season, but he was unfortunately forced to withdraw after the first round with an ankle injury. This year, Kim heads to the Ross design in excellent form and his second win at Sedgfield isn’t out of the question.
Kim has only missed one cut in his last nine starts and he has finished inside the top-20 four times over this span. Kim finished solo third at the U.S. Open in June – which is his best major finish to date – and he won the Genesis Scottish Open by two shots in July, marking his fourth PGA TOUR victory.
The key to Kim’s success has been his elite ball-striking, as he ranks fourth in SG APP this season. Kim has impressively gained at least 3.0 strokes on approach at six straight tournaments and two of the last three winners at Sedgefield have led their fields in SG APP, so Kim looks ready to flourish at this track again.
Mac Meissner ($8,100)
Meissner has been fantastic at Sedgefield. After finishing T-12 in his debut at the Ross design in 2024, Meissner finished solo runner-up at this track last year. Meissner shot a career-low 7-under 63 in the second round at Sedgefield last season and he ranks fourth in this field in strokes gained per round at the course.
Meissner travels back to Sedgefield as the maker of 11 of his past 13 cuts. The 27-year-old has finished T-31 or better nine times during this run, most recently with a T-26 at the Rocket Classic last week. Meissner shot under par in all four of his rounds at Detroit Golf Club, including a 5-under 65 in the third round.
This season, Meissner ranks eighth in proximity to the hole on 150-175-yard approach shots, which is very promising for Sedgefield, as 23.5% of the approach shots at this track over the last five years have come from this far out.
Alex Noren ($7,900)
Noren has made 13-of-18 cuts with five top-25 finishes this season. The Swede has displayed strong upside, finishing T-7 at the Cadillac Championship in May and eighth at the Memorial in June. Noren is also fresh off a T-18 at the Open Championship and at Royal Birkdale, he gained 5.2 strokes on approach, which ranked sixth for the major and is a season best for him.
Noren carded three straight sub par rounds to close out the Open Championship and he now heads to Sedgefield, where he has never missed a cut in three starts and finished T-3 last season.
Noren opened the event with an 8-under 62, which is one stroke shy of his career low. Noren is clearly fond of Sedgefield and his outstanding putting should result in another strong performance at the venue. Noren ranks seventh in SGP this season and three of the last five winners at Sedgefield have finished the week top-eight in SGP, including Young last season, when he led the field.
