While the final aired live in the UK, Episode 65 started with a pre-recorded segment from the night before. Mica and Samraj got dumped, but they also got to choose one couple to leave with them. They stressed over their decision, sorting through their options while the rest of the gang unknowingly awaited their fate. So while Mica and Samraj packed their bags and left the Villa, Simba got a text explaining the situation. They chose to dump Yasmin and Tommy, leading to one last emotional goodbye.

That left Angelista and Simba, Jasmine and Kavan and Julia and Lorenzo as the last three couples standing. Each pairing featured exactly one original islander and one former bombshell, with Julia being the only one who made it from Casa Amor.

The six finalists jumped in the pool to celebrate before we jumped back to the live portion of the show. Fans initially voted between all three couples, with the third-place pairing getting announced first. Voting would re-open for a head-to-head showdown to decide who got the $50,000 prize.

Each of the finalists answered some questions from Maya, then Mica and Samraj returned for an interview of their own. They said there weren’t any hard feelings towards the former islanders who voted them off, just before Yasmin and Tommy came out to join the panel. Despite the fact that Mica and Samraj singlehandedly booted them the day before, Yasmin and Tommy were friendly about their departure as well.

Maya hopped around to speak to the rest of the Love Island UK class of 2026, starting with Aidan and Priya. They hinted towards some feelings still being there, just before Priya buried the hatchet with Elicia. Maya also suggested that Elicia and Ethan had become a bit of an item since leaving the villa. Robyn, meanwhile, made it clear she wasn’t interested in Aidan anymore. Tommy – Murphy, not Stagg – admitted he shared an off-camera kiss with Charleen, too. We also caught up with long-lasting couples Ellie and Finley and Lola and Sean, who wound up doing a pigeon impression for Maya.

After a six-minute recap segment, Maya revealed who came in third place – Angelista and Simba. They sat down for an interview with Maya, all while voting re-opened between Julia and Lorenzo and Jasmine and Kavan. Fans voted at home as Maya interviewed the two final couples one last time.

Before Maya announced the winners, she threw it to some pre-recorded clips from the finalists’ loved ones. Lorenzo’s parents, friends and cousin each sent in videos, as did Julia’s family friends. Jasmine heard from her mom, sister and cousins, as well as several friends. Kavan got videos from his older brother and sister-in-law, his nan, his dad and step mom.

Maya finally delivered the news everyone was waiting for, announcing that Julia and Lorenzo were the winners of Love Island UK 2026. They thanked the fans for voting for them – and gifting them $50K – then Julia said she wanted Lorenzo to move in with her.

Who Were the Finalists on Love Island UK?

The couples dropped like flies over the final week, from Aidan and Priya to Mica and Samraj and Yasmin and Tommy. There weren’t any re-couplings after Day 40, so the pairings that made it to the final were pretty familiar faces. Here is who ended up making it to the finish line:
