Golf Best Bets: Top Same Game Parlay for the 2026 Rocket Classic

The PGA TOUR is headed to Detroit Golf Club for this week’s Rocket Classic. While it may be the final Rocket Classic, the event has a good chance to go out with a bang by unveiling its newest renovations. For this week and every week, DraftKings Sportsbook is ready to offer a piece of the action with a wide variety of markets available for each of the players in the full field event. One option to boost your potential winnings even higher this week is to combine some strong plays into an exciting same-game parlay (SGP) — which DraftKings Sportsbook now offers for golf!

Let’s take a look through the many options and markets available on DraftKings Sportsbook and pinpoint some bets that can combine and multiply odds in a same-game parlay for the Truist Championship.

Rocket Classic Same Game Parlay

  • Cameron Young Top 10 (Including Ties)
  • Alex Fitzpatrick Top 20 (Including Ties)
  • Chris Kirk Top 40

Cameron Young Top 10 (Including Ties)

I highlighted Young in my fantasy golf cash game plays this week, and he stands well above the rest of the field in current form. He has excellent metrics across the board, especially in the areas that matter most on this layout. He has two top-10 finishes in his three previous appearances at this event, with a T2 in 2022 and a T6 in 2024.

This season, Young has won twice and posted seven top-10 finishes in his last 12 tournaments. He’s coming off an impressive finish that resulted in a runner-up at The Open Championship, and he should be in line for another top-10 showing this week if he can stay in form.

Russell Henley Top 20 (Including Ties)

Another recognizable name coming to Detroit Golf Club this week is Russell Henley, who has put together a great season so far, including a win at the Charles Schwab Challenge. He has four top-25 finishes in his last five events and 11 top-25 finishes in his 16 events this season.

He has led this field in Driving Accuracy and ranks eighth in both Total Strokes Gained and Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the last three months. Furthermore, he also ranks in the top 13 in both Strokes Gained: Approach and Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee. He hasn’t played this event since 2022, when he finished T10.

His versatile game fits just about any course, and in this field he should be able to post another top-20 finish as he gets locked in for what he hopes will be a deep playoff run.

Chris Kirk Top 40

It’s a bit of a long shot, for sure, but this could be a great week for a turn-back-the-clock performance from Chris Kirk, who has shown a little bit of recent form and has excellent course history.

The 41-year-old Kirk has had a quiet season overall but he made the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open and the 3M Open in his last two starts, giving him some momentum in his return to Detroit. His iron play was excellent in those two tournaments and he ranks fifth in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach over the last 30 days.

While his season results have only recently started trending up, he has a long history of success at Detroit Golf Club. He lost in a playoff last year and has posted five top-25 finishes in six appearances over the last six seasons. Even if him contending again is a bridge too far, all he has to do is log a top-40 finish to deliver the green for the third leg of my SGP this week.
