Braves at Mets game postponed due to inclement weather Tuesday 7/28/26

Tuesday’s game between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets has been postponed due to inclement weather.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET at Citi Field in New York, but excessive rain in the area has led to the game’s postponement.

Thankfully, the matchup has already been rescheduled. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader tomorrow instead (Wednesday, July 19). Game one will begin at 1:10 p.m. before game two at 7:10 p.m.

The Braves are 62-44 on the year and remain atop the NL East by a 5.5-game margin. It’s been a season to forget for the Mets though, holding a 45-62 record at last in the division. Things may get worse as well following Juan Soto’s newest injury, which landed him on the IL.
