Happy Monday, and welcome to another week of MLB baseball. There are 12 games across today’s slate to choose from, with a couple of consequential divisional games like Mariners/Rangers in the early afternoon before Phillies/Marlins and Cubs/Cardinals in the evening. Whatever games you’ll be locked in on, there’s betting value to be found across the board.

Pirates ML vs. Diamondbacks
Pittsburgh hosts Arizona tonight at PNC Park, where Mitch Keller (6-7) starts for the home team against Merrill Kelly (8-8) for the visitors. Aside from sharing the same initials, they’re also both right-handers, which matters a ton in this matchup. Keller has been pretty rough for the Pirates with a 4.90 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP, and he’s allowed eight earned runs across 14.0 IP this month. However, the D-Backs are not a team you want to bank on against right-handers with a slash line of .230/.304/.376 for a .680 OPS in the split this season. Meanwhile, Kelly has been good lately with a 2.45 ERA across four starts this month, but his overall body of work in 2026 is still paltry with a 5.12 ERA and 1.48 WHIP – plus, his xERA, xBA, xSLG and hard-hit rate are all in the bottom 10% around the MLB. The Pirates’ slash line against right-handers? A cool .264/.348/.433 with a .781 OPS that ranks second in baseball, plus a .169 ISO. They should shell Kelly here at home.
Phillies ML at Marlins
Don’t come at me for this one – I know this is an extremely chalky pick. However, I love the Phillies tonight on the road as they take on the Marlins. Miami hasn’t won a ball game since July 9, getting swept in three games heading into the All-Star break and now coming off nine more consecutive losses to make this a 12-game losing streak. In a sport where momentum is king, that means plenty, as does a .600 OPS and 27.7% K% since the break. So, Philadelphia is poised to strike tonight, especially with Zack Wheeler (10-2) on the bump. The ace RHP has a miniscule 2.16 ERA and 0.88 WHIP across 16 starts, bringing a stellar 30.8% K% to the table. Over his four starts this month, Wheeler also boasts 43 strikeouts in just 24.2 IP, tallying double-digit punchouts in three of those games and coming up just shy with nine in his last start. Take the Phils on the Moneyline and consider their starter’s strikeout prop as well.
Brewers ML vs. Giants
Frankly, I’m a smidge surprised the gap in odds between the Brewers and Giants tonight isn’t wider than the -136/+113 split on the Moneyline. The listing likely comes due in no small part to Brandon Sproat (3-5) getting the starting nod for Milwaukee with a 5.09 ERA; that doesn’t scare me off though, and especially not with the club’s bullpen ranked fourth in ERA among all clubs. So long as the Brew Crew keep the score close while Sproat is in, they can certainly emerge with a road win. That may not even be that difficult against Tyler Mahle (2-9), who carries a 5.31 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP into tonight. The RHP has given up 87 hits across 83.0 innings and has a below-average BB% of 9.2%. The Brewers slash .262/.342/.419 with a .761 OPS against right-handed pitching, and with this game taking place at Oracle Park, there may be some long extra-base hits that work out in favor of their play style anyways. Assuming the San Francisco bats don’t go wild, I like the visitors here.
