The start of Monday evening’s matchup between the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds has been delayed due to rain.
First pitch was initially scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET at Great American Ball Park, but inclement weather in the area will prevent a timely start. As such, the game will begin in a rain delay. An updated time for first pitch has not yet been announced.
DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Reds -163 home favorites on the Moneyline tonight. The Guardians are +135 underdogs with the run total set at an even nine.
As for starting pitchers, Cleveland’s Slace Cecconi (4-7, 4.60 ERA, 82 SO) takes on Cincinnati’s Chase Burns (12-1, 2.42 ERA, 124 SO).
The Guardians are 54-53 on the year, 2.5 games shy of first place in the AL Central. The Reds are 49-55 and last place in the NL Central.
