Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals game delayed due to rain Monday 7/27/26

UPDATE: The game is expected to start at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Monday’s game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium will be delayed due to inclement weather.

David Peterson is slated to start for the Cubs while Matthew Liberatore will take the mound for the Cardinals. This is the opener of a four-game set in St. Louis.
