Hamzah Sheeraz is defending his WBO Super Middleweight Championship against Simon Zachenhuber in the co-main event of today’s boxing card headlined by Anthony Joshua. Sheeraz, 27, is 23-0-1 with 19 knockouts and beat Alem Begic for the Vacant WBO Super Middleweight title in May. His opponent, Zachenhuber, is 29-1 with 18 wins by knockout and recently got back in the win column against Armin Ajrulai.

Hamzah Sheeraz To Win In Rounds 1-3 (+165)
Currently, Sheeraz isn’t just one of the best fighters at Super Middleweight but in the entire sport of boxing. Since having the first draw of his career, Sheeraz has returned with a vengeance, scoring back-to-back knockouts in five rounds or less. Sheeraz now returns to Saudi Arabia, which is where his draw against Carlos Adames occurred. Zachenhuber’s first career loss came against Pawel August in April but followed it up with a fourth-round finish over Armin Ajrulai in June.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Sheeraz is a massive -4000 favorite with Zachenhuber as a +1200 underdog. This fight’s over/under is set at 4.5 rounds with the under being -135. Sheeraz is also -900 to win by knockout and +600 to win by decision.
Sheeraz’s combination of power and speed, while more often than not being bigger than his opponents, sets him apart from the competition. Sheeraz is two and a half inches taller than Zachenhuber (6’3″ vs. 6’0.5″). This should allow Sheeraz to assert his dominance while unloading plenty of effective punches before Zachenhuber can get going. Since Sheeraz is such a big favorite and five of his last seven wins have come in the first three rounds, I’m taking him to win in Rounds 1-3 at +165.
